For a potentially of our DevOps team, we are looking for an experienced individual to join a structured and fast-growing team.
The role
We are looking for a qualified DevOps Engineer to lead the automation and optimization of cloud infrastructure on AWS. The ideal candidate should have solid experience managing scalable cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.
Main responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment.
- Create and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Monitor and optimize performance of systems and applications.
- Ensure security and compliance of cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve application reliability and scalability.
- Resolve production issues and implement solutions to increase system resiliency.
Technical requirements and skills
- Experience of at least 2/3 years in DevOps environment.
- Advanced expertise on AWS, with experience on services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, IAM, CloudFormation, CloudWatch.
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure management as code.
- Excellent knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Experience with containerization systems (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of scripting and automation with Bash, Python or other similar languages.
- Experience with monitoring and logging systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Familiarity with security and networking best practices in cloud environment.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in Agile and DevOps methodologies. 3-5 years experience on Shopify projects.
