PRODUCT OWNER

Powngo is our platform that is positioned as a native solution for Shopify, with a focus on integration between the e-commerce channel and core business systems. The product targets a B2B/B2C segment and operates in a technology ecosystem that includes product catalog management, ordering, and Shopify infrastructure.

The role

You are the functional manager of Powngo. Your job is not just to manage the backlog, but to be the person who brings the voice of the market and customers inside the company, translating it into concrete, prioritized product direction.

You work closely with the development team, management, and customers. You are the single point of reference for everything from product functionality to development priorities and competitive positioning. Your effectiveness is measured by the quality of product decisions and the impact they have on customer satisfaction and business growth.

At this stage of product growth, the role also includes a strong involvement in customer relations. You will be actively involved in all phases of their journey, from onboarding to renewal, working closely with them and internal teams.

This dual responsibility is a distinguishing feature of the role, especially in the initial phase, and requires a person comfortable on both functional aspects and relationship management.

Main responsibilities

  • Define and keep up-to-date the product roadmap, balancing customer needs, market opportunities technology needs.
  • Manage the backlog in a structured way, ensuring that each item is prioritized, contextualized, and ready for development.
  • Writes user stories with clear and verifiable acceptance criteria, ensuring that the team always has the necessary context to work independently.
  • Actively participate in the ceremonies of the development process and bring clarity on priorities and timely feedback on deliverables.
  • Validate releases before going into production, verifying that what is developed matches what is required.
  • Translate customer insights and feedback into clear, actionable requirements, managing product backlogs and priorities and ensuring constant alignment with stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.

Technical requirements and skills

  • Experience in the role of Product Owner or similar roles
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms (preferably Shopify)
  • Ability to manage backlog and roadmap
  • Experience in user story writing
  • Customer orientation and relationship management
  • Ability to work with technical teams
  • Prioritization and decision making skills
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management
